Getting Started

Welcome to BoolCare — the AI-powered care management platform for UK care homes. This guide walks you through your first login, the dashboard, and setting up your organisation.


Creating your account

BoolCare uses an invite-based system. Your organisation owner will send you an email invitation. Click the link in the email and follow the sign-up steps to create your account.

If you are the owner setting up BoolCare for the first time, you will receive your access credentials when your organisation is provisioned.

Signing in

Go to care.boolbase.co.uk and enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password to receive a reset link by email.

The dashboard

After logging in you land on the Dashboard — your at-a-glance view of what needs attention today.

The dashboard shows:

  • Active residents — total number of residents in your care home
  • Care plans under review — plans that are due for review or overdue
  • Today's recordings — daily notes entered so far today
  • Recent activity — a live feed of the latest notes, form submissions, and care plan updates

Setting up your organisation

When you first log in as an Owner or Admin, visit Settings (the cog icon in the sidebar) to configure your organisation.

Organisation name

Set or update the name displayed across the platform under Organisation Settings.

Creating your first care home

Under Homes, click New home and enter the home's name. You can manage multiple homes under a single organisation — useful for care groups with several locations.

Inviting your team

Go to Team in the sidebar and click Invite member. Enter the team member's email address, choose their role, and optionally restrict them to specific homes. They will receive an invitation email with a link to sign up.
